Imagine a kitchen that seamlessly blends design elegance with professional functionality. This is precisely what Officine Gullo achieved in the stunning kitchen project of a Californian residence.
The kitchen project by Officine Gullo features a U-shaped layout with two parallel islands in a matte ‘Lily White’ color and burnished brass finishes. The parquet flooring and ceilings with intricate moldings enhance the elegance and grandeur of the space.
The homeowners, passionate about the art of cooking, expressed to the designers the need for a space ideal for gathering with family and friends for convivial moments and simultaneously suitable for important receptions. Therefore, the requirements included top-of-the-line, professional-grade and high-efficiency cooking equipment and tools.
The kitchen design was created to meet both requests: the result is a welcoming environment with timeless design complemented by the professional performance of a restaurant-quality kitchen. The spacious area is divided into multiple zones, each dedicated to a specific function.
The washing area is under a bright glass window, with a central semi-recessed burnished brass sink, an object holder bar, and a double-jet faucet with a lobe handle. The under-counter area houses a dishwasher, a pull-out waste bin, and a series of drawers. Two display cabinets with shelves complete the setup on either side of the window.
The opposite wall features a central refrigeration column, a freezer column, and a wine cellar. Above them are upper compartments with flip-up doors. To their left are a microwave oven, a multifunction oven, and a warming drawer. To their right are a coffee machine, a multifunction oven, and a second warming drawer. The wall composition is completed by a series of wall cabinets, providing ample storage space.
The first of the two islands in the center houses an OG Professional 248 cooking range with a double oven (one static and one fan), warming compartments, double drawers, and a professional dome hood. The second island is dedicated to washing, with a dishwasher, a pull-out waste bin, and a series of drawers and storage compartments.
This project demonstrates how professional functionality can meet elegant and timeless design, creating a welcoming and versatile environment.
