Style in Reflection: Ghidini1961’s Latest

A new burnished brass finish for Dusk Dawn, a lamp designed by Branch Creative, and recognition of the company’s commitment to proposing the
unseen with the ADA 2024 award given to Merlino, a table by Paolo Rizzatto.

Everything starts from an idea, from a sensation, from pure imagination, to then become a product to be experienced in its uniqueness.
Ghidini1961 starts right there to make its furnishings and accessories elements of character that communicate the personality of those who live in home environments.

Handcrafted Beauty: A Luxurious New Finish

Objects that express themselves not only with their shapes, but also in the finishes, as happened for the Dusk Dawn family designed by
Branch Creative which, presented in brass and metallic glass, is now enriched with the new burnished brass finish (with smoke glass diffuser) that, enhancing the natural beauty of brass, is well suited to illuminate the living room, bedroom or study rooms. A symbol
of high-quality craftsmanship and timeless design: the warm and welcoming light emanating from this lamp creates an intimate and comfortable atmosphere, ideal for reading, working or simply relaxing. In the new burnished brass finish, the lamp becomes a discreet presence.

Dusk Dawn draws its name from a magical arc of time: the arrival and departure of soft light. It is the time when the sun dips below the horizon to leave an afterglow that signals the arrival of the night, and that carries us to the brief embrace of dawn light in the morning. Playing on the intersection of its two defining shapes: a soft shade and geometric, conic base, Dusk Dawn transforms from what appears to be a solid brass volume to reveal an inner conic ‘spire’ of light when illuminated.

Merlino Table Wins Archiproducts Design Award 2024

The Merlino table, designed by Paolo Rizzatto, instead thrilled the international jury of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2024 for its concept and design, resulting in the winner in the Furniture category. An acknowledgement to a product that becomes a sculpture, characterized by a
marble top that seems to float supported by an unusual structure that is surprisingly rich and light, airy and iridescent when viewed from different points of view.

A Homage to Melotti: Exploring Form and Material

The linear and curvilinear shapes in burnished and brushed metal that compose it recall organic plant forms and, reflected in a mirrored surface, multiply and seem to mysteriously sink into the floor. Thus the designer wanted to pay tribute to Fausto Melotti, a multifaceted and abstract artist who has always shown love for the material of which Ghidini1961 is a skilled interpreter.
