Gervasoni has always stood out for the refinement of its materials. Even for the 2025 Outdoor collection, the brand confirms its sophisticated taste in material selection and its innate ability to create iconic and avant-garde combinations.
The result is a unique, functional, and elegant design product. The pursuit of quality materials, the meticulous choice of raw materials to work with and combine is also a very important aspect of Gervasoni’s production.
In the 2025 Outdoor collection, the great protagonist is the precious teak wood, always a must-have when it comes to outdoor furniture. The brand, thanks to its craftmanship, has managed to reinterpret the material in a surprising way, enhancing its natural qualities through innovative processing and refined details.
Teak, known also as Tectona grandis, comes from Southeast Asian forests and it’s among the most precious tropical woods in the world. With its exceptional hardness, ductility and resistance to weathering, moisture and salt, it is the perfect material for outdoor furniture. Its uniqueness comes from an oily resin that naturally improves its impermeability and resistance.
In Gervasoni’s Outdoor collections, teak dominates in the Eidos collection by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, Mediterraneo by Francesco Meda, and Torii by Studio Adolini. Special mention to the Inout collection designed by Paola Navone. A broad and varied collection of chairs, stools, armchairs, sofas, tables and accessories portraying the countless ways Gervasoni imagines spending time outdoors.
Eidos Gervasoni
In the Eidos collection, named after the Greek word “shape”, designed by brothers Oscar and Gabriele Buratti, teak serves as the supporting structure for all the new pieces. From the round Eidos 136 table with legs and slats top entirely made of natural teak, to the Eidos 23 chairs with a simple, versatile, and clean structure, all crafted from the precious tropical wood. The rectangular Eidos 133 table comes in multiple variants: the classic version, entirely in teak, inspired by the slatted design of the round table but with a rectangular top, is available in various, more experimental versions.
The Eidos 133 glass table features a cast glass top, called “Eidos Glass“, with a three-dimensional rhomboid texture, slate greyback-painted with a slightly metallic finish. The functionality of the durable glass merges with the elegance of a refined and unique material, which, due to its geometric patterns, gently reflects the light, creating a chromatic play across the surface. Supporting the top is a robust yet slender structure made of natural teak wood.
More classic and minimalist, the Eidos 133 table with a Pearl concrete top, a material obtained from a mixture of cement, polyurethane resin and glass fibres, that provides an optimal balance of strength, flexibility, and durability over time. With a rectangular shape, this table variant is a true emblem of Gervasoni’s refinement and experimentation. The combination of precious wood and Pearl concrete creates a resistant product, perfect for outdoor spaces, but also versatile, elegant, and minimal, suitable for all tastes.
The Eidos 141 and Eidos 143 outdoor side tables also combine the essential design of the teak structure with the fine materials used for the round top, available not only in Pearl concrete and glass, like the table, but also in “Lava Stone”, a material obtained from a mixture of volcanic powders and porcelain stoneware. The anthracite color recalls the volcanic stone of the Aeolian landscapes, reaffirming the centrality of nature in Gervasoni’s production. This refinement, characteristic of the brand, focuses on experimenting with natural materials.
Mediterraneo Gervasoni
The new pieces of the Mediterraneo collection by Francesco Meda for Gervasoni Outdoor 2025 are the perfect union between essential design and the elegance of refined materials. The rectangular Mediterraneo 33 table, for example, features a teak base and various top variants.
The Vetro Mediterraneo top, for instance, is a tribute to the sea and nature. The deep green glass is finely worked to recreate water ripples and adds depth and movement to the material. The robustness of the supporting teak structure meets the rounded geometry of the slightly wavy effect. Like all the materials used by Gervasoni, this one is designed to withstand weather conditions and resist over time.
The Mediterraneo 33 table is also available with a Pearl concrete variant, Lava Stone gres, and an elegant Carrara marble top. The latter, the most classic of Italian marbles, is in itself a product of beauty and timeless elegance, refined and monumental. In addition to its aesthetic qualities, it has structural, physical, and morphological characteristics that make it naturally compact, resistant to wear, and suitable for dining purposes. The marble used in the collection is treated with a clear matt impregnating agent.
The versatility of the collection is also reflected in the variety of similar pieces available in multiple sizes. Just like the rectangular Mediterraneo 33 table, Francesco Meda also designed the Mediterraneo 43 side table, with a rectangular shape and an elegant top available in Carrara white marble or Pearl concrete. In this variant, the teak supporting structure frames the top, which appears almost embedded in the wood.
Torii Gervasoni
Inspired by Oriental aesthetics, the Torii table, designed by Studio Adolini, takes its name and design from the traditional Japanese gate at the entrance to a Shinto shrine or sacred area. The teak wood base has an essential but sophisticated line, accentuated by a sculptural, sinuous top with downward-folded edges. The top is available in multiple variants, confirming Gervasoni’s continuous experimentation with different materials.
With darker and more sophisticated tones, the Vetro Fumè top is made of smoked paste glass cast modelled on a texture that gives a slight ripple, resembling the “waves” of the Vetro Mediterraneo by Francesco Meda, which certainly adds personality and character to the table. The curved edges take on a sinuous, rounded shape due to the properties of the glass, which contrasts with the more geometric regularity of the Pearl concrete variant. In both versions, Torii expresses sophisticated simplicity, perfect for those looking for a piece of furniture that combines functionality and beauty, becoming a true focal point of style within the space.
Inout Gervasoni
Exotic suggestions are alternated with elements of sophisticated minimalism in Paola Navone‘s Inout collection, where the precious teak wood plays a leading role, providing the base for the Inout 81 day-bed. Traditional outdoor materials, such as wood, worked to enhance its natural properties, are paired with cutting-edge materials, specifically developed to withstand the elements, but no less seductive and poetic. Indeed, on the sturdy frame of the day-bed, rest comfortable cushions in expanded polyurethane, a leading material for outdoor upholstery thanks to its flexibility and durability.
The Inout 33 and Inout 35 dining tables are impressive outdoor furniture pieces with teak slat tops. The first, Inout 33, with a rectangular shape, rests on thick parallelepiped-shaped legs made of painted GFRC concrete, available in white and electric blue. The Inout 35 side table, on the other hand, features a square teak slat top that sits on a massive trapezoidal GFRC concrete base in anthracite gray. The use of unconventional materials and shapes, yet perfectly suited, creates new ways of thinking about outdoor dining, whether for many guests or a few close friends.
