This rosé is born from the harmonious union of Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, hand-harvested at the peak of summer and vinified as a white wine. After a gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine matures for six months, preserving its brightness and fruity character.

Brilliant, modern, with a pale rose gold color, this rosé has an intense and enveloping aroma of fresh red fruits, characterized by a crisp, silky, and dry mineral note. Crafted from 100% Ribolla Gialla grapes, perhaps the oldest variety of Collio, this wine presents a beautiful pale straw yellow hue, with a very fresh and immediate nose. On the palate, the typical varietal aromas of citrus and green apple are recognized, with hints of tea leaf and wisteria in the background. The entry on the palate is beautiful, with a linear and juicy progression, the finish recalling the decisive and mineral notes of lemon.

A wine with intense flavors, typical of hillside vineyards on marl and sandstone, and good sun exposure. It can be enjoyed with grilled or stewed fish dishes, as well as creamy soups, such as with asparagus and mushrooms. Excellent pairing with white meats and light poultry. Serve chilled, around 8-10°C, to fully capture its fragrance.

With a cherry pink color, the Rosato IGT by Pighin initially presents fine and delicate hints of raspberry, cherry, and wild strawberries, which soon evolve into straightforward and pleasant aromas of watermelon, pomegranate, and blood orange. The floral bouquet is rich and pleasant: cyclamen, peony, geranium, and lilac. The slightly spicy hint of pink pepper joins a sensation of subtle and fragrant sweetness, enriched by aromas of aromatic herbs, thyme, and mint, and a diffused scent of iodized minerality that intoxicates and conquers.

Crafted from 100% Barbera grapes cultivated in the municipality of Roddino, the Barbera d’Alba Superiore DOC by Saffirio reflects the extraordinary richness of the Langhe terroir. The vineyard’s roots delve into a complex soil, characterized by alternating layers of clay and the presence of the prestigious Sant’Agata fossil marls (18-20%), which confer structure and elegance to the wine.

The hand-harvested grapes are fully destemmed and subjected to a soft pressing, followed by an alcoholic fermentation of about nine days at a controlled temperature. Aging occurs in oak barrels, then continues in concrete tanks, ensuring a perfect balance between freshness and complexity. Its structure and typical Barbera organoleptic characteristics make it ideal for pairing with robust first courses, stuffed fresh pasta, and white meats. Recommended serving temperature: 16-18°C.

The aroma is initially characterized by delicate floral and fruity notes, of apple and peach, closing with spicy hints of vanilla, licorice, and saffron. On the palate, the variety’s acidity stands out. It begins with a clear sensation of freshness, combined with a slight note of tartness typical of this variety, and closes leaving the mouth dry and well-cleaned. It is certainly a wine of structure and great personality, like this borderland.

Excellent served with first courses or grilled fish, crustaceans including red prawns with chickpea puree, and slightly smoked D’Osvaldo prosciutto.
