Doimo Cucine is expanding its footprint across key European and Middle Eastern markets, with recent 2024 openings in Spain, France, and the UK, and further launches planned for early 2025. This strategic growth has propelled exports to over 50% of turnover.
2024 proved a dynamic year for Doimo Cucine, marked by impactful initiatives surrounding EuroCucina and the unveiling of groundbreaking projects. This momentum translated commercially into the establishment of new mono-brand stores, integrated shop-in-shops, and strategic collaborations with esteemed design studios across Europe.
Spain marked the initial expansion, with the Madrid showroom of Cuoco Spazio establishing itself as a key destination for the city’s prominent architects and designers. Subsequently, Doimo Cucine opened its doors in Sant Fruitós de Bages, Catalonia, within the Cantara Business group’s headquarters. This family-run enterprise, originating 50 years ago as a building materials distributor, has evolved its showrooms into pivotal meeting points. They now cater to both private clients and professionals, offering comprehensive design services for diverse residential spaces and showcasing the latest innovations and trends.
The summer witnessed the inauguration of Costablanca Home Design in Teulada, Alicante (Autonomous Community of Valencia, Costa Blanca), another second-generation family-run business that embodies a commitment to quality and design through the integration of Doimo Cucine’s product lines.
At the end of the year, the Studio Delight showroom was added in Nerja, near Malaga. It was founded by three professionals who decided to combine their expertise after years of collaboration with the company. This store is active in various areas of interior design, with a specialisation in kitchen environments and a combined experience of over thirty years.
Additional openings are already planned in Spain for the first half of 2025, including Guerrero y Giner Cocinas in Lorca (Murcia), the creation of a design studio specialised in kitchen environments.
In the UK, in London, Et Lorem is the studio where limitless kitchen design establishes a dialogue with both private clients and architects. In France, the first mono-brand Doimo Cucine store has opened in partnership with Jad in Horbourg-Wihr, in the Upper Rhine. This contemporary two-level space with large windows will be inaugurated in spring 2025. Currently, Doimo Cucine has 12 retailers in France.
Ferruccio Pujatti, Export Manager of Doimo Cucine, states: “All these new openings, together with our long-standing customers, are engaging increasingly more often with design studios, confirming Doimo Cucine’s ‘tailored’ vocation. This result, the outcome of a long journey, has led the company to gradually review and improve the various stages of production. Spain, a market we have been working in for some time, has embraced our message of uniqueness with enthusiasm, offering us excellent growth prospects, with expected growth also in the United Kingdom.
At the same time, we are working to strengthen our presence in markets like France, where, although less established, we aim to select the right partners for our development path. Choosing Doimo Cucine means adopting a clear and defined philosophy, both in terms of design and product distribution. The international market continues to respond positively to our proposals, and in 2024, exports accounted for 54% of our turnover.”
