Buccellati unveils its latest silverware creation, true expressions of the Maison’s artisanal mastery and rich decorative heritage.
Its latest offerings dedicated to the world of silverware include the Raspberry Jam Jar, the coasters and storage box adorned with a Ruche decoration and the floral poppy centerpiece.
The Raspberry Jam Jar expands the Murano collection, which combines Venetian blown glass with hand-crafted silver, transforming simple containers into table sculptures. Each Jam Jar is a small masterpiece that playfully and elegantly replicates fruits and vegetables: designed to hold jams, preserves, or sauces, every piece features a base of colored Murano blown glass and a silver lid intricately crafted to depict foliage or botanical details with unparalleled finesse. Following the citrus fruits, apples, pumpkins, mushrooms, and tomatoes, the collection now welcomes the raspberry, celebrated for its vibrant color and distinctive shape.
Additionally, Buccellati revisits a timeless classic from its repertoire: the Rouche decoration, born in the ‘50, returns to the spotlight with a new silver box and a set of coasters. This iconic undulating motif, inspired by the movement of the sea and the shape of certain seashells, is crafted using the ancient technique of chasing and is renowned for its ability to impart lightness and dynamism even to the most structured objects. Rooted in classical art and Mediterranean decorative culture, this design has spanned decades of the Maison’s history—initially applied to trays and frames before evolving into the more intricate Doppia Rouche variant. The new creations continue this tradition through pieces that are both functional and exceptionally elegant.
Rounding out the collection of new offerings is a floral centerpiece featuring an intricate arrangement of poppy flowers. This exquisitely refined piece, designed by Andrea Buccellati and meticulously handcrafted, draws inspiration—faithful to Buccellati’s heritage—from nature, the enduring muse at the heart of the Maison’s creations. Reflecting Aristotle’s insight that “there is something marvelous in all natural realities,” the innate beauty of the flowers is brought vividly to life through craftsmanship that seamlessly merges time-honored techniques with a contemporary sensibility. The centerpiece belongs to the Natura collection, which showcases elegant decorative elements inspired by leaves, petals, and fruits, transformed into artistic masterpieces that enhance the home with both grace and expressive depth.
