A New Contemporary: The Cattelan Italia Collections

A new approach to contemporary aesthetics: this is the leitmotif of Cattelan Italia’s new collection. These products are inspired by a common creative drive: the love of quality materials and Italian craftsmanship.

Cattelan Italia Keramik Collection: Monolith Tables with Sculpted Effect

Cattelan Italia’s Keramik collection has established itself over the years as the finish of choice for designers looking for a material that is both sophisticated and ductile. The 2024 collection introduces a new stylistic proposal: a table made entirely of ceramic, with a base and top in the same material, to create a mono-material effect in which the finish is the absolute protagonist and vehicle of style.
This gives rise to two new tables for the dining room, Napoleon Keramik and Rado Keramik Round, and the Cuba Keramik Bistrot model.

Cattelan Italia Papel: The Precious Table Inspired by the Waves

The new Papel family of tables, with a glass, ceramic or wooden top, synthesises the observation of sea waves in their sinuous forms. A single sheet of metal is shaped with precision, thanks to excellent production techniques. A series of cleverly balanced loops make this model dynamic and multifaceted, depending on the point of observation.

The launch of the Papel tables expands the collection of oxidised, hand-brushed finishes. In addition to the Oxybrass shade, the Oxygrey variant is now being introduced. This variant reproduces the effect of oxidised iron with an elegant vertical gradient.

Cattelan Italia Senator Wood Table and Greta Seat: The Royal Dining Room

To create a dining room with a refined look, a new table model has been added to the Senator family: the 4-metre-long Senator Wood wooden table. The inimitable contoured shape, which we already loved in the 4-metre moulded glass version, is now available in precious woods, in burnt oak or Canaletto walnut, divided into irregular sections with contrasting wooden strip inserts.

This impressive model is complemented by the Greta seat, with separate seat and backrest, and generous upholstery with elegant stitching. The effect is one of a comfortable throne, worthy of a regal setting.

Cattelan Italia Harbour Bookcase: Elegance is Tailor-Made

After the eternal success of the modular bookcases designed by Giorgio Cattelan, the 2024 collection sees the birth of a new proposal that is destined to last. The Harbour bookcase, designed by Paolo Cattelan, consists of uprights and shelves that can be positioned as desired, and dresses the wall like a tailor- made suit. The model can also be designed to be positioned in the middle of the room as a room divider that respects the natural brightness of the room.

Fine wood shelves with rounded corners and metallic finishes merge in a dance between classic materials and contemporary style. Harbour is also characterised by its sophisticated containers, whose curved glass sides allow a glimpse of the objects stored within.

Lounge Room: Convivial and Informal Environments

The new Lounge Collection of tables and armchairs meets the need to furnish hybrid open-plan spaces where the boundary between dining and living is blurred and fluid.
The protagonist of this quest for comfort and sharing is the Ritz Lounge table, which, at 64 cm in height, is halfway between a large, comfortable coffee table and a round dining table, thus combining both functions in a single furnishing solution. Paired with this table, four models of Lounge Armchairs, swivel or fixed, are introduced.

New Finishes: Between Classic and Contemporary

The 2024 collection launches four new ceramics inspired by natural marbles and the most precious stones in nature.

With its cold, incisive veins, as sharp as the fragments of a shattered mirror, Invisibile ceramic was created to enrich ceramic table bases with a monolithic effect

The shades of the Colosseum finish range from milk white to walnut, with warm, subtle speckled nuances. Thanks to the most advanced precision techniques, the small cavities, typical of the travertine marble from which it takes its inspiration, are reproduced with a textured effect, slightly grainy to the touch.

The Luxor ceramic stands out within the Keramik collection for its modern, minimalist aesthetic. The patterns on the surface have a striking graphic character that contrasts with the delicate, neutral shades.

Finally, Andromeda ceramics simulate the amazing interiors of precious stones. The tonality is predominantly dark, with slight hints of bright purple and warm freckles. The entire slab is furrowed with white veins, sweeping across it like lightning in the night.

The proposal of brushed finishes is further expanded with the new Oxygrey finish. This is a painting on metal carried out by skilled craftsmen, who imprint delicate freehand scratches, imperceptible to the touch and in a uniform direction, with a vertical oxidised gradient.

The new oxidised iron finishes evoke the aesthetics of industrial manufacturing. This creates a striking contrast when combined with luxurious materials such as marble- effect ceramics, transparent crystal or natural wood.
