Coralla is a versatile artist whose creative vision is effortlessly revealed through different forms of expression. For years, she has been experimenting with a diverse range of materials for products that reflect her inner world: from velvet to metallic furniture and tables, pushing the boundaries of design.
An experimentation which already found expression in the visionary art of porcelain tableware, accessories and one-off pieces and that now opens up to new horizons.
Coralla’s Room: A Curated Collection of Color, Form, and Texture
Trough ‘Coralla’s Room’, the home décor collection was born, featuring a selection of products that embody her distinctive flair for color, form, and texture. From the brand-new silk velvet cushions to steel coffee tables with essential lines, up to dreamy candle holders and unique vases that are more objects of art than design, ‘The Room’ invites people to bring a fragment of Coralla’s world into their homes.
Coralla states: ‘Opening my Room doesn’t have much to do with getting my hands on a lot of things, to show skill in creating besides dishes, velvets, rugs, cushions, perfumes and who knows what else I will pull out of my hat. Obviously, part of designing my room is an occupation of the space, so also gaining importance and presence, but this is just the mechanical part of what is happening in my life. This, on the other hand, is a very intimate passage, which I could compare to the tides.
The water that flows towards the infinite sea, and the water that I draw back into myself. If I am about to create dishes, drawings, essences that are a distillation, even an imperfect one, without shell or skin, of who I am, it’s an achievement of my whole self. The parts that contribute to creating a world of objects that also make sense to others are many, all the ones we have at our disposal, visible and invisible. The Impressions collection showcases Coralla’s exploration of geometry and minimalism, a change from her earlier work. Each design includes familiar symbols and motifs from her art, like the Mountain, which she considers as gateways to life’s deeper mysteries. Every plate reflects her vision of blending art with a sense of order and peace, offering a visual journey through the graceful beauty of structured shapes and their hidden meanings. The decoration is also proposed with gold flashes to contrast the pastel shades.
