Gallotti&Radice presents an exclusive preview of its highly anticipated 2025 Milan Design Week collection, unveiling three distinctive seating designs: the H2O Lounge, Loulou Rock, and Saki.
The creations, born from collaborations with esteemed design studios such as Studiopepe, david/nicolas, and Oscar e Gabriele Buratti, explore a diverse range of inspirations, from personal narratives and reinterpretations of classic forms to a profound investigation of pure, unadulterated shapes.
H2O Lounge Gallotti&Radice
Studiopepe
Conceived to be the ideal companion in moments of conversation, the armchair takes up the sculptural shapes and the characteristic hole in the backrest which, combined with the graphic design of an H created by the lines of the seat and armrests, reveals the name of the original design of the H2O dining chair launched last year. The lounge version features a full, upholstered seat that allows it to turn in on itself, perfect for a club house or lounge.
Swivel armchair with metal inside structure padded with non-deformable polyurethane foam in different density. Completely covered by fabric or leather as per samples. The colour combination of the zip is defined by Gallotti&Radice by matching it with the chosen covering.
Loulou Rock Gallotti&Radice
david/nicolas
The rocking chair tells a deeply personal story, one that intertwines with the history of global design. Designed ten years ago for a solo exhibition debut in Beirut, the designers’ home country, it’s a reflection of their cultural heritage and deeply rooted family traditions. David/Nicolas explain, ‘Inspired by our grandmothers and the ever-present rocking chairs in Lebanese homes, the design seeks to capture the emotional resonance of nostalgia, reinterpreting it for a contemporary audience.’
This iconic chair balances minimalist elegance with careful craftsmanship. The sleek silhouette is embellished with brass details, such as the backrest fasteners, that recall a commitment to fine materials and enduring quality. The mix of traditional influences and modern aesthetics gives this piece a universal dimension, able to resonate across different cultures and design sensibilities.
The rocking chair is constructed with a matte black painted metal frame, accented by polished stainless steel details, and features an optional polished brass finish. The seat and backrest roll, both with internal wood and derivative structures, are padded with multi-density non-deformable polyurethane foam. Upholstery is furnished in fabric or leather from the sample collection’s palette, and the armrests are solid wood with a black stain.
Saki Gallotti&Radice
Oscar e Gabriele Buratti
According to Oscar and Gabriele Buratti, ‘The classic threadlike legs evolve into a spatial structure of fine planes, designed to cradle the gently curved seat and backrest. A refined take on the three-legged chair, it harmonizes comfort, elegance, and sophistication. A focal point in the home, Saki embodies research into the purity of primary forms and geometries, yielding sophisticated designs with a distinct personality.’
