Classic aesthetics, contemporary rigour and sartorial elegance define the 2025 collection by Gianfranco Ferré Home, officially presented at the Salone del Mobile. Milano.
The colour palette explores the depths of blue and grey, embellished with accents of red and the warm shades of Tay wood, an expression of authentic and refined luxury. The contrast between structured shapes and enveloping textures generates a visual and tactile harmony that enhances the dialogue between strength and lightness, rigour and fluidity.
The numerous upholstered furnishings inside the space are an expression of contemporary comfort enriched with details inspired by the world of fashion: straps, buttons, textile inserts and leatherwork give each piece a distinctive touch. The fabrics, including hound’s-tooth reinterpreted in a tonal key, also emphasise the link with men’s clothing.
The Zurich line is characterised by thin leather bands that add a touch of glamour to the harmonious lines. The dark brown leather straps with brushed bronze details evoke the world of high fashion, while the silver nubuck upholstery gives it an elegant and discreet allure.
The enveloping silver nubuck upholstery completes the sophisticated allure of the seat, lending a discreet yet undeniably impactful presence. This sophisticated construction features a structure crafted from multilayer pine wood and solid fir, a seat utilizing elastic webbing suspension and high-density, variable-thickness expanded polyurethane foam padding, and is upholstered in luxurious Nabuk leather in Silver.
Part of a collection that includes a coordinating sofa, Zurich is conceived to create living spaces with a unique character, an authentic expression of the Gianfranco Ferré Home aesthetic. The collection fits perfectly into a refined living room, completed by the dramatic Greenwich coffee tables.
The Bern sofa also embodies the balance between defined geometries, fluidity of lines and fashion details, enhancing the fusion of design and couture. Placed in a living room together with the Chambers and Queens coffee tables, it expresses a cultured and modern aesthetic.
The dichotomy between rigid and soft, a distinctive feature of Gianfranco Ferré Home’s DNA, is expressed not only from a formal point of view, but also in the selection of materials. Wood and metal, chosen for their solidity, interact with leather and hide, creating refined and coherent colour combinations. Details and workmanship emphasise this duality, giving character to both large elements, such as tables and desks, and to smaller containers and objects, making each piece unique.
One example is the Davos table, characterised by sculptural shapes emphasised by visible stitching, combined with the Montreux chair, defined by essential lines and details such as leather straps and handcrafted stitching.
The exhibition itinerary coherently illustrates the brand’s aesthetic vision: cultured, decisive and contemporary. Once again, the stylistic heritage of fashion is intertwined with the language of design, giving life to an unparalleled collection.
