Glas Italia opens in Shanghai

Glas Italia has just inaugurated its corporate showroom in Shanghai its corporate showroom in Shanghai: a choice aiming to strengthen the presence of the Company, within its already pre-existing distribution network, and showing its interest towards the Chinese market and culture.

The showroom, located in the lively Jing An district, will become not only a hub for the trade, i.e. interior designers, architects and developers, but as well a hotspot for the brand to convey to the public the magic of its glass furniture and creations.

An environment rich in colors and suggestions progressively introduces the variegated world of Glas Italia, in a sequence of areas alternating recent proposals with iconic pieces, more minimal furnishing elements or more decorative ones, each of them designed by masters of contemporary design.

A specific technical-thematic path integrating glass furniture and glass accessories with the more project-oriented proposals of the door and partition wall collections, which over the last decade have allowed Glas Italia to establish itself as a main player in interior design.

Glas Italia: A leader in interior glass processing

Founded in Brianza in 1972, Glas Italia produces furniture, doors, partition walls and glass accessories, leveraging on the experience and technical knowledge of a centuries-old family glassworks, as well as on an innate passion for working with glass.

Research and design of the glass as a material employ the most highly advanced technology, enabling to win the new challenges by means of increasingly complex manufacturing processes: gluing with UV techniques, digital printing on large slabs, silk-screen printing, water jet shaping, etching relief, sandblasting, tempering and stratification with colored films, fabrics and wire meshes.

A development that has led Glas Italia to be present today on all five continents and in more than 100 nations.
