Doimo Cucine’s new Project D12 is on the one hand an expression of emotion – a representation of those who will live it – and on the other hand of the mastery of manufacturing, and the company’s style and care in the selection of materials.
Project D12, a kitchen solution with a distinct design, is rich with elements that help define diverse thematic areas (zones for prep/homework). This composition adopts our D12 doors (where 12 is the thickness in mm), with a 100% recyclable aluminium core.
The space is filled with light, inspired by mid-century design, with an architecture that plays with volumes, large spaces and wood cladding applied to walls and soffits. It remains an evocative environment, with diffuse light and shadows reflected on the kitchen’s precious finishes.
The Island: A Sophisticated Dialogue of Materials
The island from Doimo Cucine’s D12 Project makes a statement with its sophisticated combination of materials and finishes. The main base units feature a refined satin Piombo lacquer, which provides a sleek and solid foundation. This is elegantly contrasted by open base units in a premium Michelangelo elm veneer, adding visual warmth and textural depth to the composition.
A key feature is the worktop, engineered in two different thicknesses from In-Side Porfido Marrone porcelain stoneware, a material selected for both its exceptional durability and rich, earthy aesthetic. Tying the entire design together, the integrated table top mirrors the open elements, crafted from the same premium Michelangelo elm veneer for a perfectly cohesive and harmonious result.
Integrated Functionality and Architectural Storage
The external tall units are presented in a Grigio Seta 7044 matt lacquer finish, while the internal columns of the pantry-winery area are distinguished by a Premium Michelangelo elm veneer.
A full-height wine cooler creates a spectacular focal point, fully equipped with various accessories to store bottles and wine glasses.
The accessorised wall features base units in In-Side Porfido Marrone ceramic, complete with a matching worktop and backsplash, and is enhanced by full-height modular elements. Access to this zone is provided by a walk-in tall unit located next to the table and through architectural glass panels at the rear of the columns.
