Cross Elements by Scavolini: An Integrated Design System for a Fluid, Bespoke Home

Scavolini, a benchmark in the kitchen and furniture industry, expands its portfolio with Cross Elements: a new system of versatile furniture elements conceived for the contemporary home. Meticulous attention to detail elevates every room, creating a seamless, flexible, and unified vision of space

At the core of Cross Elements lies a philosophy of uniting style and functionality. The goal is to shape interiors with a refined, personal character, where distinct spaces can dialogue with one another while maintaining a consistent stylistic language and a sense of architectural flow.

This philosophy is perfectly embodied by new elements like Maxidoor: full-height cabinets paired with a minimalist 2 cm plinth to establish a sleek, elegant aesthetic. Conceived for tall units or as back panels for island bases, they can be specified with recessed grip profiles or handles, ensuring remarkable design flexibility.

From Philosophy to Form: The Key Elements

However, it is with Freepass that the concept of connection between environments reaches its ultimate expression. This modular system allows for the creation of clever passageways between different areas of the home, overcoming the rigid separation between spaces and functions.

Beyond Walls: The Freepass System

Freepass integrates with two core elements—partition larder units with single or double doors, and the “Fluida” Wall System—to create bespoke configurations featuring push-pull openings and internal closing handles. It can also be ceiling-mounted as a central room feature, its extensive compositional freedom ensuring a seamless integration of furniture and architecture.

This system is also particularly effective for creating discreet access to hidden utility areas, such as a pantry or laundry room. It ensures passage is simple and immediate, preserving the harmony of the surrounding space.

Refined Details and Rhythmic Compositions

The Cross Elements project is complemented by a range of furniture and accessories designed to merge utility with aesthetic value. Among these, the Air Box solution—designed for wall, base, and tall units—stands out for its refined design, featuring a decorative melamine structure and aluminium frame doors in anthracite grey or champagne finishes, with either a flat or shaped profile. Concealed hinges lend a final sartorial detail that enhances the clean lines.

Equally distinctive are the Sail modules, created for wall units and tall units. Characterized by a protruding door that doubles as a side grip, this unique configuration creates a rhythmic interplay of solids and voids, infusing the entire composition with a dynamic, contemporary feel.

Completing the collection is the Vertical System wall paneling, an architectural solution for cladding walls with vertically mounted panels and profiles that can be integrated with open elements, shelves, and metal accessories.

Ultimately, Cross Elements is Scavolini‘s response to the modern aspiration for spaces that are connected, functional, and thoughtfully designed. It is a system where every component contributes to a harmonious whole, where impeccable aesthetics and flawless function converge.

About Scavolini

Scavolini was founded in Pesaro in 1961 by brothers Valter and Elvino Scavolini. In just a few years, their small artisanal kitchen workshop evolved into one of Italy’s most important industrial companies. Located in Montelabbate (PU), the main facility covers 204,000 m²—90,000 of which are indoors—and is home to over 720 employees.

In 2012, responding to clear market demand, the brand expanded its range to include bathroom collections. Over the years, Scavolini’s portfolio has grown further to encompass a wide array of living room solutions—both integrated and freestanding—and most recently, walk-in wardrobes, establishing a comprehensive “total look” for the home.
