A Vision of Contemporary Luxury: Inside Turri’s Lake Garda Villa

A private residence becomes the stage for Turri’s evolving vision of luxury, where design and nature converge in a seamless narrative of Italian excellence, craftsmanship, and a pioneering new language for living.

Nestled within the evergreen hills that embrace Italy’s magnificent Lake Garda, a private villa stands not merely as a home, but as a physical manifesto of Turri’s contemporary philosophy. The project, articulated across two independent yet interconnected levels, is a masterclass in spatial storytelling. Here, a century of Italian excellence in craftsmanship and material culture is reinterpreted through a modern lens, creating a living experience that is in constant dialogue with the breathtaking natural landscape. The architecture itself initiates this conversation, with expansive windows that dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior, framing the sublime scenery and inviting an ever-changing natural light to become an active element of the design.

It is within this luminous shell that Turri’s signature unfolds, marking each space as a protagonist in a larger narrative of style. The project is a testament to the company’s journey, translating its heritage of tailor-made quality into a modern luxury defined by environments of profound character and quiet confidence.

A Luminous Stage for Conviviality

The journey begins on the upper floor, an expansive area dedicated to social life and personal repose. One is welcomed into a light-filled dining space that flows effortlessly into a wide living area, a zone that immediately asserts a strong contemporary character. This is the domain of Marco Acerbis, whose recent creations for Turri anchor the space. The clean, decisive lines of the Joel sofa system provide structure and comfort, creating islands of conversation. It is complemented by the sculptural presence of the Kenobi table and the elegant silhouette of the Lynn chairs, a trio of designs that powerfully articulates the concept of modern luxury: sophisticated, functional, and devoid of unnecessary artifice.

Material Balance and Chromatic Echoes

As the narrative of the upper floor continues, it transitions towards more intimate settings. In the master bedroom, the aesthetic language remains consistent, with elements from the Joel collection ensuring a harmonious flow. These are paired with the soft, organic forms of the Bow poufs, designed by Arianna Crosetta of Studio Milo, which introduce a playful yet refined counterpoint. This careful curation highlights a core tenet of the project: a meticulous balance between proportions, volumes, and materiality, resulting in a unique and holistic vision.

Another dedicated corner for contemplation is artfully composed beside the fireplace. Here, the Vesta collection by Francesca Lanzavecchia—comprising an armchair, sofa, and coffee table—creates an intimate cocoon. The chromatic palette of the upholstery and finishes is a deliberate echo of the lake’s shifting hues, a subtle yet profound connection that invites moments of relaxation while rediscovering the intensity of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, a dedicated reading or reflection nook is formed by the enveloping Riban armchair, a design by Toan Nguyen, thoughtfully supported by the minimalist geometry of the Nook coffee tables from Studio Milo.

A Refined Counterpoint

Descending to the lower level reveals another facet of the Turri universe. This floor, while maintaining its own independence, is bound to the upper by a consistent aesthetic philosophy. Here, the living and dining spaces are furnished with the elegance and refinement characteristic of Matteo Nunziati‘s designs. His Atelier and Kyma collections imbue the environment with a timeless sophistication, their precious materials and impeccable detailing speaking to a culture of high craftsmanship. The ensemble is completed by the Nabi chairs, another contribution from Marco Acerbis, creating a subtle thread of continuity that weaves the entire residential project together.

The Synthesis of an Identity

This project achieves a synthesis that stands as a manifesto of a unified vision. This core ethos pervades every space through an elegant refinement, a profound attention to comfort, and a design language that explores the nexus between form and function. The architectural division into two levels becomes a compelling metaphor for Turri’s own identity: a balance between privacy and spatial continuity, between its storied past and its pioneering future.

Representing a significant new chapter for the brand, this work is a confident step in its continuous exploration of Italian excellence. It is a vision deeply rooted in the company’s values—the savoir-faire passed down through generations, the obsession with detail, and the proud authenticity of Made in Italy production—while simultaneously embracing an original, forward-looking interpretation of lifestyle. Turri designs the living space as an expressive environment, a stage where a refined, strongly Italian aesthetic allows every corner to become an emblem of an elegant and aware way of living.
